Majority of my daughter's messages from her Gabb Watch 2 were voice messages because she needed to give me details that the presets couldn't offer. And sometimes it was difficult to send a voice message depending on where she was, if it was too loud or if she was in school and couldn't talk. With the keyboard feature she is now able to send me texts with details specific to what she's doing without being disruptive or having to scream over any background noise.

Gabb Watch 3 also has Gabb Cloud, which is a FREE digital backup service that securely stores data from your kid’s Gabb device. Once activated, Gabb Cloud will automatically backup your settings and Gabb Go progress. If you upgrade, replace, factory reset, or SIM swap your Gabb device, all of this data can be restored automatically.
Gabb Cloud backup backs up your Gabb Go progress and all your Settings. More data will be available for backup soon. This works by logging into Gabb ID to activate Gabb Cloud. After that, it will automatically backup your data every night.
There are 2 types of updates to make sure all your software is up to date. You’ll need to do both of these as they provide different types of updates.
1. Go to the Gabb ID app on the Settings Page and click “Update Apps”. Your watch must be connected to Wi-Fi for the update to work.
Wi-Fi helps the watch get more accurate locations and is required to get software updates on both the Gabb ID app and the Update app. However, we don’t recommend connecting to public networks. The Gabb Watch 3 cannot connect to public networks that have a captive portal or a browser-based authentication system, because the Gabb Watch 3 has no web browser.
Go to the Update app at the bottom of the Settings Page and click the update icon. Your watch must be connected to Wi-Fi, on the charger, and above 30% battery life for the update to work.
A theme changes the background of every screen on the watch. A wallpaper only changes the background of the home screen.
Gabb ID is a new account you create for your child’s Gabb Watch 3. It’s not the username and password you use to login to gabb.com/account or the MyGabb app. It is a user specific secure account that is used to provide additional services for your child, including cloud backup.
You must login to Gabb ID to enable Gabb Cloud and Speech-to-Text.
Thoroughly clean the watch and wireless charger with alcohol wipes. Be sure to turn off the watch and unplug the charger before cleaning. Also make sure to dry them both thoroughly before charging.
